NEW FRANCHISE PLAYER TRADING
RULE (SUSPENDED FOR NUFF
XIII)
Regarding Franchise Player Trading
Any Franchise Player can be traded under the
following conditions… First and Foremost –
The FRANCHISE TAG COMES OFF IMMEDIATELY
If No Franchise Player in return
1.The Tag is taken OFF of the Franchise
Player and
2.The Player will be in a 1 yr Contract
during the Current Season – NO OPTIONS
3.The Team Trading the Franchise Player
CANNOT Franchise another player until after the
Next Season’s 1st game is played.
4.The Only Way the same player can be
franchised by the new team (if new team is
eligible) is to
a.Either turn in a college draft pick
b.Pay a $10 off their Salary Cap as part of
the trade (to the bank….not the other team)
If
Franchise Player in return (even if it’s just 1
franchise player for 1 franchise player)
1.The Tag is taken OFF of both Franchise
Players and
2.The Players will be in a 1 yr Contract
during the Current Season – NO OPTIONS
3.The Player CANNOT Be Re-Franchised by the
new team.
Each trade works individually – even if an owner
trades a franchise player for other players…
which follows the first option…. And then later
receives a franchise player in a later trade…
still follow the first option
Salary Cap Rules remain and illegal trades are
subject to penalties and fines… if it includes a
Franchise Player…the fine will carry into Nuff X
